This is the second printing of Samuel Beckett's "Film," published by Grove Press in 1969 as an Evergreen Original (E-502). The book contains the complete scenario for Beckett's only venture into cinema, which starred Buster Keaton and was directed by Alan Schneider. It also features illustrations, production shots from the 1964 filming, and an insightful essay, "On Directing Film," by Alan Schneider. The book was notably designed by Roy Kuhlman with a cover photograph by Steve Schapiro.
