They debuted in '77, making them a veteran vocal group. However, prefer many, I first heard them with ①, and the sound, even for the time, was refined, not really giving off a Southern vibe. So, my impression might be a little different from those who have listened to them since the beginning. Especially ②, which was largely handled by Barry J. Eastmond, a favorite of Freddie Jackson, allows you to fully savor urban-flavored soul music.
