Both books are hardcover, and Volume 2 still has its dust jacket (jacket is not present on Volume 1). Dust jacket has a few tears and fading mostly on the spine as shown. Volume 1 has wear on the spine as well. Pages of both books are in excellent condition with no inscriptions or staining. Wonderful set for any collector of cookbooks or fans of the beloved Julia Child. Published by Alfred A.
