gorgeous antique Japanese tin-glazed porcelain plate. Features hand-painted peacock design with flowers on a blue background with a yellow rim. In good antique condition, there are two chips on the rim next to eachother (see last photo). This is also why I have greatly reduced the price.
Plate measures approx 8.625" in diameter.
Marked with an incised mark under the glaze consistent with Yamatoku pieces created in the 1910s. Also has a brushed on character I have not identified.
