In Chernihiv there was a training “Blogging and social networks: practical application in journalism”

A two-day training for local and regional journalists on Blogging and Social Networks: Practical Application in Journalism was held on June 21-22, 2013 in Chernihiv. The event was the first training session planned in the framework of the project “Supporting Analytical Journalism for Improving the Liability of People’s Deputies” with the support of National Endowment for Democracy.

Representatives of the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research have involved Yevgeny Demchenko’s information management and communication technologies.

The training was dedicated to the use of the latest communication technologies in the work of a journalist, with the prospects for the development of new media, with services for finding and monitoring information, automatic information of targeted audiences, as well as with content generation.

Particular attention was devoted to practical classes concerning work with social networks, blogs and acquaintance with network marketing.

The second part of the training was focused on the creation of texts for the Internet, the preparation of illustrations and photos. Multimedia ways of submitting information are considered. In addition, participants in pairs created publications about deputies of different nature (visualization of visits, tracking of business and personal ties, etc.).

The event took place in a warm and friendly environment, and the information provided was of great interest among the participants.
