The investment project is scaled through the design experience of Chernihiv region

The International Assistance Project of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland was started by a meeting at the State Agency for Investment and Management of National Projects of Ukraine, which took place on April 26, 2014 between Markian Zhelyak, President of the European Center for Cooperation, Dariusz Ostrovskim, Project Manager, Marchin Serveta, Project Specialist, Gennady Maksak, President of the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Studies, as well as Vasyl Fedyuk, Director of the State Investment Policy of the State Investment Project.

This initiative is a logical continuation of this year’s project “Innovation, information, development. Expanding cooperation and investment attractiveness of small cities of Chernihiv region ”, which was implemented in the Chernihiv region in order to promote the institutional development of executive bodies of local self -government, as well as attracting investments in this region.

However, this year’s project will be scaled to 18 cities of Ukraine, whose representatives of self -government will have the opportunity to listen to trainings and seminars with the participation of Polish experts.

According to the project manager Dariusz Ostlesksky, participants of the trainings will visit the regions of Poland, where they will study the experience of development of local communities. The 10 most successful participants in the training program will be able to take part in a weekly study visit in Poland. This trip will help you get acquainted with Polish experience, mostly in the field of increasing investment attractiveness. For four selected project participants, a visit will be organized, during which within two weeks participants will be able to deepen the knowledge gained by comparing them with real tasks and positive experience in improving the investment attractiveness of Polish cities.

The Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research will join the training of training programs for participants, as well as facilitate their organization and conduct.
