Formation of civic position of students of Chernihiv region: is the mission realized?

The answer to this question was sought by managers of the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Studies, together with representatives of the media on March 28, 2013, in the walls of the Pure Policy Expert Club. Press conference “Formation of civic position of students of Chernihiv region: is the mission realized?” took place within the project “Future teachers on the way of forming legal education and civic position of student youth ”with the support of the Department for Family and Youth of Chernihiv City Council.

The project manager Olga Rizenko noted that involving students in a training course on the formation of a civic position of student youth and skills related to participation in public life is a priority for this project. “There are two groups of experts: knowledge experts and experience experts. We do not intend to teach students and, in turn, are ready to learn from them. We want to share and see in Europe, as well as to do so interactively and as useful for both sides, ”Olga Rizenko said.

Maxim Koryavets, the project manager of the Polissya Fund, stopped on the main aspects of the training, and shared the experience gained as a result of participation in the project “We are citizens. We are Europeans. Formation of civic position of youth of Ukraine ». The latter was implemented by the Center for European Cooperation (Poland) and envisaged educational visits of teachers and representatives of non -governmental organizations to Poland in order to transfer experience in the context of civic education.

In his turn, Valery Semenets, a representative of the Department of Family and Youth of the Chernihiv City Council, expressed his hope that this initiative would find support and interest among student youth.

The participants of the event expressed gratitude to the activists of student self -government of Chernihiv National Pedagogical University. TG Shevchenko, as well as hope for further cooperation in the context of organizational and information support.
