Chernihiv Region Expert-2011: Results
The Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research, together with the Pure Policy Expert Club, presented the results of the next annual survey “Chernihiv Region Expert-2011”.
The most influential party was expected to be named the Party of Regions, the most influential media of Chernihiv – the 7 -day newspaper and the journalist of this edition Igor Gryshchenko. The title of the most influential public organization was received by the Democratic Alliance. In addition, the winners in their nominations were the Department of Internal Policy of the State Administration (headed by Andrey Podorvan) and the Department of Family and Youth of Chernihiv City Council (headed by Vyacheslav Golub). Volodymyr Khomenko, the head of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration, was called the most influential representative of the authorities.
The expert survey has been conducted by the Polissya Fund annually since 2005. This year’s study was attended by about 90 representatives of the authorities, regional media, public organizations and political parties, which evaluated changes during 2011 in the socio-political and economic sphere in Chernihiv, expressed an expert opinion about the development of media and civil society in the region.
