Transparent reform of housing and communal services in Chernihiv

On September 8, 2009 at 11.00 in the small hall of the Chernihiv City Council (Magistratskaya St., 7) a press conference will be held, dedicated to the beginning of the project of the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Studies and the Educational Center “Initiative” Transparent Reform of Housing and Communal Services.

The press conference will be attended by project organizers and deputy mayor of Chernihiv on housing and communal services.

During the event, basic information about the project, its goals and objectives will be provided, and the creation of a public expert group on housing and communal services at the Chernihiv City Council will be announced.

Representatives of NGOs, regional and local media are invited to participate, all interested in this issue.

The project “Transparent reform of housing and communal services in Chernihiv” is implemented by the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research as a joint initiative of Pact Inc., the International Renaissance Foundation and the Eastern Europe Foundation.
