2nd training for young analysts from northern regions

On August 29-30, 2009, a training “Development of Analytical Activities” was conducted in Chernihiv Fund of International and Regional Studies. This training has become the second in a number of measures to be implemented in the framework of the project “Increasing public activity at the regional level through the development of youth analytical activity”, which is supported by the National Democracy Development Fund (NED).

The second training was conducted according to the scheme of the first, taking into account the wishes and comments of its participants.

On the basis of the submitted competitions for participation in the training, 15 young analysts from Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy regions were selected. The coaches of the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research and Youth Information Center have considered the topics: “Fundamentals of Civil Society”, “Leadership”, “Fundamentals of Studies”, “Analytical Activity in Journalism”.

The vast majority of participants also expressed interest in participating in the Analytics School, which will be conducted by the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research on September 25-29.
