Work of the Annual Conference of the International Association of Regional Development Institutions (Mirr) in Uzhgorod.

On December 12, 2008, representatives of the Polissya Fund, at the invitation of the organizers, participated in the annual conference of the International Association of Regional Development Institutions (MIRR) in Uzhgorod.

During the conference, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Mirr and the Polissya Fund, which was preceded by a long preparatory work on defining directions and coordination of cooperation mechanisms. The conclusion of the Agreement expands the parties to the implementation of statutory goals, preparation of international projects, effective Findraising through information exchange, joint events and use of the affiliate network.

Negotiations with the management and members of Mirr, representing public organizations of Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Zaporizhia, Chernivtsi and Lviv regions, were held during the event, allowed to determine a number of practical measures to implement the contract and to agree on the terms of their implementation.
