Domestic experts got acquainted with the experience of implementing economic reforms
The working meeting of Ukrainian and European experts in the field of regional development was held on March 29-31, 2015 in Kyiv within the framework of the International Project “Analytical Support for Economic Reforms in the Regions of Ukraine in the Conditions of European Integration”, implemented by the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research (Chernihiv) for financial assistance).
As planned, the work began with a meeting of representatives of the Polissya Fund and experts of partner European organizations, which aimed to get acquainted with current project activities and ideas for further cooperation. European experts provided information on the possibility of joint projects, made practical recommendations on expanding the range of partners of the Association of Regional Analytical Centers, and gave advice on increasing the expert potential of the Association of Regional Analytical Centers (ARAC).
Subsequently, representatives of the Arats, who got acquainted with the experience of Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary in the context of economic reforms at the regions level, were joined. In accordance with the reports, representatives of the partnership organizations of the Visegrad group. The concept of future research was also discussed, which should be conducted in the Ukrainian regions in the second half of 2015 by ARAC experts and further activities within the project.

The purpose of the project “Analytical support for economic reforms in the regions of Ukraine in the context of European integration” is to identify the most effective ways of closer to Ukraine’s economy to the economic order of European countries after the creation of a free trade area with the EU. The results of the project can be used by local authorities and regional development agencies to adapt regional business to the European Union economic standards.
