Invitation to participate in the project “Public School of Effective Practices of EU”
Educational series: involvement of NGOs in the process of implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU
The EU Public School of Effective Practices is organized by the Institute of European Policy (Berlin, Germany) and the Polissya Fund for International and Regional Studies (Chernihiv, Ukraine) with the support of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
The purpose of the project is to promote the potential of Ukrainian civil society organizations in the context of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine (including the development of an in -depth and comprehensive free trade zone) to allow interested participants of the project.
Within the framework of the project it is planned to select 25 representatives of non -governmental NGOs from 8 regions of Ukraine(Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Sumy, Lugansk, Donetsk). They will take part in three seminars on the implementation of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine / In-depth and comprehensive free trade (UA / PVZVT) and aimed at enhancing the ability of participating organizations in the following areas:
– the content and consequences of the implementation of UA/PVZVT;
– Monitoring and impact tools on the implementation process of UA/PVZVT;

– public communications management (Public Communication Management);
– Fandering and acquaintance with the European Neighbourchood Instrument (European tool “);
– Development of a monitoring strategy and design ideas for improving efficiency/control/transparency of the UA/PVZVT implementation process in Ukraine.
The seminars will be held in Chernihiv according to the following indicative schedule:
First Seminar:“EU as on the palm of hand – as an association agreement can work on you”. Period: September 21 – 24, 2015. Seminar topics:
– the truth on the EU Association Agreement with Ukraine: myths and facts about current processes and tasks in the future;
– EU Association: key terms and tools;
– introduction and brief overview of the Association Agreement;
– Fundamentals of GVZVT for CSO of Ukraine;
– preparation of CSOs for their key participation in the process of implementation of the UA.
The second and third seminars will be held in periods on November 16 – 19, 2015 and January 18 – 21, 2016.
Requirements for participants:
– Persons aged 18 years of age are allowed to participate in the project.
– Applicants should be interested and have information in the field of implementation of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine / in -depth and comprehensive free trade (UA / PVZVT). The experience of monitoring the processes in this area is welcome.
– Applicants must have a basic level of English (minimum: the ability to read and understand the texts outlined in English).
– the applicant must be a member of the civil society organization, which is registered in one of the listed regions of Ukraine: Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Sumy, Lugansk, Donetsk (a certificate of registration of the civil society organization) should be added to the application.
