Nizhyn Agrarian students know the constitutional rights and obligations well


Ніжин The organizers of the lecture on the theme “The essence of the Constitution and its role in everyday life”, which took place on December 7 at the Nizhyn Agrotechnical Institute, were convinced. The event was attended by 47 senior students.

On the eve of the Human Rights Day, which is celebrated on December 10, it is especially important to remind everyone of his rights and freedoms without forgetting his duties.

The lesson-lecture was in the format of dialogue and contributed to the updating of students’ knowledge, who discussed the question: “What is the constitution? What are the features of the basic law of the state?

As a result of the event, students deepened their knowledge of the role of a citizen, his or her rights and responsibilities, the existing state system and the importance of everyone’s participation in the constitutional process. Thanks to the videos and information booklets, developed by the International Center for Perspective Research, students have received an idea of ​​the principles of formation of the main document of the country, the history of the creation of the Constitution of Ukraine, how the constitutional rights and freedoms of citizens and many other aspects take place.

This is a sixth meeting with the youth within a series of events organized by the International Center for Promising Studies in Partnership with the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation within the framework of the project “Using World Expert Experience and Public Consultations in the Constitution of Ukraine”.
