A consulting visit in Ukraine is ongoing within the framework of the project “Public Dialogue – Cooperation of Local Self -Government Bodies of United Territorial Communities for Development”


A consulting visit in Ukraine is ongoing in the framework of the project “Public Dialogue – Cooperation of Local Self -Government Bodies of United Territorial Communities for Development” (FSM 17 159/2017), implemented by the Association “Center for European Cooperation” (Poland) together with the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Studies (Ukraine).

The purpose of the visit headed by Tomash Chubara, the main expert of the project, is to support community representatives from Chernihiv and Kherson regions in the development of development and management plans in united communities.

“Our project has entered the last phase. The experts together with the participants refine the plans of communities whose implementation will allow to make a real change in these communities,” says Paulina Luzhinets, coordinator of the project from the Association. “I believe that participation in the project will have an impact on increasing the potential of the development of these local governments,” the coordinator adds.

As part of the visit, the expert worked with community representatives, including: Kochubeyivka, Vinogradne, Oster, Desna, Ivanivka, Mrin and Mena. The next step in the implementation of actions will be a studio visit of project participants to Poland, scheduled for the end of October. The project will end in November this year.

The project is co -financed at the expense of the Program “Support of Democracy” financed in the framework of the Polish cooperation for the development of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
