Initiative “Digital Transformations in Ukraine: Do Domestic Institutional Conditions Respond to External Challenges and the European Agenda?
The Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research has started implementing the initiative “Digital transformations in Ukraine: do domestic institutional conditions correspond to external challenges and European agenda?” Within the framework of the project “Supporting the Activities of the Ukrainian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (FGS SHP), which administers the Institute for Economic Research and Political Consultation, funded by the Eastern Partnership Civil Society and the European Commission.
The purpose of the initiative is to develop a roadmap (ways) to improve the system of work of Ukrainian power institutions for the development of digital potential of Ukraine in accordance with European trends.
The initiative is implemented during August-October 2020 and envisages interaction with the central executive authorities, which are relevant to decision-making in the field of digital development of Ukraine, a scientific community interested in digital development of Ukraine and business structures interested in legislative changes that will contribute to their penetration.
According to the results of the study, it is planned to develop an analytical document with the following basic substantive elements:
- Analysis of the situation in the field of telecommunication services and appropriate infrastructure
- Analysis of the Electronic Trust Services Market and Digital Economy Security
- Analysis of the state of the sphere of e -commerce
- Analysis of the scope of digital skills
- Research of information and communication technologies, innovation and Startup ecosystems
- Analysis of the Electronic Health System
The study is aimed at analyzing the situation and development of recommendations for further steps necessary for establishing the system of work of Ukrainian authorities for integration of Ukraine into the European digital community.
