European integration is energy efficiency

Extraordinary elections to the Verkhovna Rada are coming to an end and the country returns to the problems that are most relevant in the heating season. The signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union provides great opportunities for the development of the country, but at the same time puts high requirements for standards in all industries, and the energy industry is no exception. At the moment, the situation here leaves much to be desired, there are actually no tools, or they do not work in order to change and reform the country’s energy sector. At the same time, citizens have a clear stereotype of the need to reduce energy tariffs. These stereotypes that have been drawn over many years of political manipulation and the extension of the simple bridgehead for the electorate should be combated at the all -Ukrainian level. It is necessary to convey people and teach them rationally to behave with what we have, which will significantly save not only the state but also people. Citizens need to understand that energy safety is a matter of everyone, emphasizing the importance of joining the process of conservation of Aenegia.

In many European countries, energy saving has become not only a fashionable trend but also a standard of consciousness of citizens. For example, in Poland, most residents recognize that the introduction of energy -saving technologies is a necessity for the environment, and in view of the constant growth of tariffs for energy, heat and water. As for Ukraine, most citizens do not bother the topic of energy saving at all, or they have just started to be interested in raising the tariffs for heating.

At the beginning of 2014, the total housing stock of Ukraine amounted to 1096.6 million square meters. m. The main share of housing was put into operation, in the 50-70s of the last century, and requires significant costs for reconstruction and modernization. Housing and communal services use 40 % of energy resources, the remaining 60 % are divided between transport and industrial needs. Specific energy consumption for heating, which is the main energy characteristic, houses of the country’s housing stock reaches 200-300 kWh/(m2 ∙ year). For example, this figure reaches 150-260 kWh/m2. Particularly acute is the problem of energy saving for individual use. According to experts, the specific energy consumption of the housing stock of Ukraine is twice as high as the EU countries.

In the countries of the European Union, long before the conflict that unfolded in eastern Ukraine, the number one topic was the search for the most effective energy -saving technologies in housing construction. The EU -Parliament and the Council of 2010/31/ of May 19, 2010 on the energy characteristics of buildings obliges states that are members of the European Union to ensure that all buildings that will be built after December 31, 2020 are the objects of almost zero energy consumption. Poland builders are ready for the realization of an ambitious task, and the entrepreneurs who serve this industry are already producing materials for construction with a high degree of energy efficiency.

The construction sector in Ukraine has the opportunity to make a real revolution, since the European Union seeks to join a large part of citizens, in every way contributes to the introduction of energy efficient technologies, and reducing CO2 emissions. In the energy market, there are more and more decisions aimed at preserving ecology and energy. For our country, it is not only an opportunity to join this work, but also to significantly develop our own economic sector, to direct all opportunities and capacity for the development and implementation of our own product, thereby providing the opportunity for adequate funds.

Another important aspect of the development of energy saving is the need for information enlightenment of the population, because many Ukrainians live in the “old system” and thoughtlessly use resources, complaining about the state.

Most Polish experts in energy saving and construction agree that changes in the information system are needed and some changes are being implemented so that the information is more clear to the general public. The best example is the assessment of the degree of energy efficiency of the house, that is, the energy characteristics of the building. The owner will be able to estimate the costs of low energy efficiency, and therefore decide to improve it.

The importance of the technology market and construction sites is increasing, which will save energy, so the state and citizens will be able to save money significantly. Entrepreneurs will be able toIn expanding their own opportunities, thereby increasing the economic level of the country.
