4th training for young analysts from northern regions

On November 21-22, 2009, a training “Development of Analytical Activities” was conducted in the Chernihiv Fund of International and Regional Studies.

This training has become fourth in a number of trainings thatare implemented within the framework of the project “Strengthening public activity at the regional level through the development of youth analytical activity”, which is carried out with the support of the National Democracy Development Fund (Ned).

The third training was conducted according to the scheme of the previous three, taking into account the wishes and comments of the participants.

On the basis of the submitted competitions for participation in the training, 15 young analysts from Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy regions were selected. The coaches of the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research and Youth Information Center have considered the topics: “Fundamentals of Civil Society”, “Leadership”, “Fundamentals of Studies”, “Analytical Activity in Journalism”.

The vast majority of participants also expressed interest in participating in the Analytics School, which will be conducted by the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research 3-7 March 2010.
