Analytical centers will take the analysis of economic reforms – an international project
On March 29-31, 2015, within the framework of the International Project “Analytical Support for Economic Reforms in the Regions of Ukraine in European Integration”, prepared by the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Studies (Chernihiv) and supported by the International Visegrad Fund (Slovakia), a working meeting of Ukrainian and European experts will be held.
During the meeting, a primary acquaintance with the experience of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary in the implementation of economic reforms at the level of regions and the definition of the concept of future research, which should be conducted in Ukrainian regions in the second half of 2015 by specialists of the Association of Regional Analytical Centers (Arats), will take place. European experts will share their own experience of strategic planning and the peculiarities of economic reform of their own regions in the context of integration of their countries into the European Union.
This project envisages active cooperation of the partnership network through a number of measures to evaluate the implementation of economic reforms in the regions of Ukraine in the context of European integration. The relevant study will be conducted by ARAC experts with the methodological support of the analytical centers of the Visegrad group.
The project should help evaluate and predict the possible advantages and disadvantages for the Ukrainian regions of the EU integration process, as well as determine the dynamics of implementation of relevant reforms. The purpose of the project is also to identify the most effective ways of closer to Ukraine’s economy to the economic order of European countries after creating a free trade area with the EU. The results of the project can be used by local authorities and regional development agencies to adapt regional business to EU economic standards.
