Development of SME support strategies and their impact on regional small and medium -sized enterprises
The best practices of supporting small and medium -sized businesses used in Ukraine, Eastern Partnership and EU countries were discussed during a pilot event in Chernihiv within the framework of the project “Development It was held during a pilot event in Chernihiv as part of the project “Development of SME support strategies and their impact on regional small and medium -sized enterprises” participants received information about grants and projects, donors and state support programs of small and medium -sized enterprises at the regional and local levels. Particular attention was paid to initiatives that contribute to the involvement of local authorities and strengthen their cooperation with local SMEs in the future. Participants were presented to institutions and structures that contribute to economic development: the pilot network of entrepreneurship support centers and the role of CNAPs in creating conditions for business. Information provided on mechanisms for solving problems in the industry, including the activities of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, which implements the SMEs strategy. The implementation of the state policy of support for the development of small and medium -sized enterprises in Chernihiv region was discussed. Project Partners – Business Organizations have received knowledge and skills for better SMEs. Also paid attention to the initiatives that encourage the participation of traditionally less business sections of society, such as women in economic activity, so they put gender practice for business. Regional small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurial organizations have been given knowledge to solve the open market challenges, which arose after signing the DHWWT, which will eventually promote regional economic development. New ideas and tools will serve as a basis for future measures that will facilitate the development of regional small and medium-sized enterprises and business organizations.
