“Do Ukraine’s border regions use EU Cross -Border Cooperation Programs?”
On May 18, 2018, a conference will be held in Kyiv, during which experts will analyze the efficiency of using the border regions of Ukraine of EU cross -border cooperation programs and their financial capabilities. The analysis will be based on the study “Synergy of Cross -Border Cooperation Programs and Regional Development Strategies in Ukraine – a window of opportunities for border areas” held by a group of experts in 11 regions of Ukraine.
The participants of the event will find out how border regions in the north and west of Ukraine are interested in the development of cross -border cooperation, what problems interfere with the border regions to use the potential of EU cross -border cooperation programs as part of the implementation of regional strategies and how to combine the capabilities of strategic and territorial cooperation.
The event organizes the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research with the financial support of the European Union and the International Renaissance Foundation within the framework of the Public Synergy project.
We invite representatives of the central authorities, regional councils and the Regional State Administration of the project, regional experts of the ARAC, representatives of PTKS programs in Ukraine, interested representatives of NGO and media.
