“Eastern Partnership” in Polissya

At the expert club “Clean Policy” there was a regular meeting with Chernihiv journalists of leading experts on European integration.This time, the scientific director of the Institute of Euro-Atlantic Cooperation met with journalistsOleksandr Sushko and Gennady Maxak, President of the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research.

The theme of the expert meeting: “Formation of associative relations between Ukraine and the EU”.The leading Ukrainian expert spoke about the peculiarities of building a dialogue of Ukraine and the European Union, the prospects of concluding a new strategic document, which should replace the partnership and cooperation agreement.

In addition, it was also a “Eastern Partnership”, a new EU policy against six Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus, which provides for significant additional cooperation mechanisms for partner countries and the European Union.

Particular attention was paid to the participation of public institutions in this process.
The event was held within the framework of the European Meetings on Polissya, which is implemented by the Analytical Center “Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research” with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
