“European integration economic progress index: three years on the path of Ukraine to a single European economic space”
February 26, 2018 at Premier Hotel Rus, at ul. Hospital, 4, Kyiv 01601, Ukraine (in sections B+C+D conference rooms), the conference “Index of European integration economic progress: three years on the path of Ukraine to a single European economic space” will be held.
Registration starts – 10:30. The event begins 11:00.
The event is organized by the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Studies.
The event is conducted within the framework of the project of the Index of European Integration Economic Progress: an assessment of economic reforms in the regions of Ukraine on the way to the implementation of the free trade area with the EU “, which is implemented by the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Studies (Chernihiv) in partnership with the Association of Regional Analytical Centers. The implementation of the project has become possible within the framework of the Initiative “Promotion of Reforms to Regions” of the Institute of Economic Research and Political Consultations (Kyiv) and “European Truth” with the assistance of the European Union (http://ec.europa.eu/europeaid).
During the event, the European integration economic progress index, the results of its calculation in Ukraine and regions for 2014 – 2016, the process of integration of Ukraine into the European economic space and the trend of domestic economic development will be discussed.
The European integration economic progress index is an instrument for comparative assessment of the degree of convergence of regional economic systems of Ukraine with the EU, which includes indicators of depth of trade and economic relations of the region with the EU and indicators of institutional support, which regional state administrations should provide to support European integration.
