Finding partners to prepare the annual regions of Ukraine

As part of the initiativeAssociations of Regional Analytical Centers.

The initiative is implemented with the support of the regional representation of the Fund. Friedrich Ebert in Ukraine and Belarus and aims to mobilize an independent regional expert environment through the preparation of comparative information and analytical reviews of regional development for the formation of an alternative to official point of view on socio-political and economic processes in the regions of Ukraine. It is planned to continue this initiative for the coming years and the involvement of selected experts in the implementation of other projects and initiatives of Arats (with the consent).

Expert Tasks:Within two weeks, prepare a brief (up to 8 thousand characters) information and analytical review for their region according to the designated topic according to the technical task, which will be provided upon completion of competitive selection.

To participate in the competition are invited:
– public organizations (expert teams);
– independent experts;
– Scientists.

The application is submitted in an arbitrary form and must contain information:
For NGOs (expert groups):
– name, legal address, manager information, contact information;
-website/organization information;
– links to prepared analytical products, projects.
For independent experts, scientists:
– PIPB, place of work, position, scientific degree, contact data;
– experience of analytical work, references to prepared analytical materials, articles, etc.

Applications are accepted by January 23, 2015 inclusive to pfirs@ukr.net. The selection results will be reported to the contestants by January 25, 2015.

The Association of Regional Analytical Centers (ARAC) is an initiative group of civil society organizations of analytical direction that share the ideology of implementing effective local and state public policy, working to form a public request for research on a wide range socio-political development of Ukraine. The initiator of the creation and leadership organization of Arats is the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research (www.pfirs.org).
