In Chernihiv, a plan of action on sustainable energy development of the city for 2015-2023 is presented

On May 14, at 11.00, the Chernihiv City Council meetings will be presented with a plan of action for sustainable energy development of the city (PDSER) by 2023. The event will be attended by members of the Executive Committee, deputies of the city council of the media, representatives of the OPORA Civic Network and other public organizations.
The Chernihiv Sustainable Energy Development Plan after approval at the plenary session of the City Council, which is planned in May 2015, will further become the main strategic document of the city to implement measures that will reduce energy consumption and replace traditional energy sources with alternative. As a consequence, this will reduce emissions into the environment, improve the ecological state of at least a small, but important part in improving the climatic situation in Ukraine and the world.
The Chernihiv PDR was developed as part of the USAID Municipal Energy Reform project in Ukraine.
