Invitation for regional analytical centers of Ukraine to participate in the project “Association of Regional Analytical Centers: A tool for improving management efficiency in the regions of Ukraine”


Initiative of the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research (Chernihiv) with the support of the European Union.

Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research invites representatives of regional analytical centers from all regions of Ukraine to participate in the project “Association of Regional Analytical Centers: A tool for improving management efficiency in the regions of Ukraine”.

The purpose of the project is to increase the analytical and organizational capacity of regional analytical centers in Ukraine by involving them in monitoring and analyzing the quality of administrative services to the population of Ukraine.
This initiative provides for the awareness of representatives of the analytical centers of Ukraine in the issues of monitoring and analysis of administrative services, assessment and improvement of quality of administrative services in the regions, which will create the Association of Regional Analytical Centers.

Representatives of regional analytical centers from 15 regions of Ukraine (1 representative from each region) will be invited to participate to participate.

The selected participants will take part in two three -day trainings. The first training will be held in Uzhgorod (May 2013) and will be devoted to the peculiarities of European administrative services and Ukrainian experience in this field. The second training will be conducted in Chernihiv (July 2013) and will provide training for participants to the main tools for monitoring and analyzing the quality of administrative services in Ukraine.


The organizers provide participants in training materials and food, as well as cover travel and accommodation costs.


Specialists in the field of administrative services in the International Association of Regional Development Institutions (Uzhgorod, Ukraine) will be involved as coaches.

In September 2013, a constituent meeting of the Association of Regional Analytical Centers – a joint organizational platform for further cooperation of its participants in the implementation of analytical activities in the territory of Ukraine will be held in Chernihiv.
From October 2013 to November 2014, representatives of regional analytical centers who will participate in the training part of the project will be attached to the monitoring of the functioning of the administrative services system in their areas, which will aim to develop and implement recommendations for improving the quality of administrative services.

To participate in the selection for the project, you must provide:

1. The completed application application.

2. Summary.

3. A recommendation from an analytical center that delegates a participant.


The full package of documents must be sent no later than 17:00 on March 15, 2013 to address pfirs@ukr.net (request in the topic of the letter to indicate “ARAC”).
Only those candidates who will provide a complete package of documents are allowed to participate in the competition.
