Invitation for regional analytical centers to participate in public monitoring of regional development strategies of Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovograd, Lviv, Sumy, Ternopil and Khmelnitsky

Regional analytical public organizations are invited to participate in the project and entry into the Association Khmelnytsky region.

The selected analytical centers will take part in two three -day trainings and a series of working meetings on the development and analysis of regional development strategies; will be part of working groups for the preparation of regional development strategies under local authorities; will be invited to participate in the International Conference in Kyiv; will carry out a promising analysis of regional development strategies and implementation of recommendations for their improvement, which also involves the organization and conduct of public projects on the topics of the project in target areas.

Specialists in the field of regional development from the Institute of Civil Society (Kyiv) will be involved in the project. Organizational and information support of the project will be carried out by the Office of the Council of Europe in Ukraine (Kyiv) and the All -Ukrainian Association of Local Self -Government Bodies “Ukrainian Association of District and Regional Councils” (Kyiv).

To participate in the selection for the project, you must provide:

1. A scanned version of the registration certificate (or extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individuals – Entrepreneurs) of the organization that claims to participate in the project and entry into the Association of Regional Analytical Centers.

2. Filled Application application.

3. The summary of the representative from the analytical center, which will directly participate in the project “Regional Policy in Ukraine: Public Monitoring of Regional Development Strategies”.

4. A recommendation from the management of the analytical center that delegates the participant to participate in the project.

The full package of documents must be sent No later than 18:00 on February 28, 2014 to the addresspfirs@ukr.net (request in the topic of the letter to indicate “ARAC”).

Only those organizations that will provide a complete package of documents are allowed to participate in the competition.
