Invitation to participation in the project “Public School of Effective EU Practices” Educational Series: involvement of NGOs in the process of implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU

The project “Public School of Effective Practices of EU” is organized by the Institute of European Policy (Berlin, Germany), the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Studies (Chernihiv, Ukraine) and the Odessa Regional Organization of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine (Odesa, Ukraine) with the support of the Federal Office of Germany.
The purpose of the project –To promote the potential of Ukrainian civil society organizations in the context of the implementation of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine(including the development of in -depth and comprehensive free trade zone) to grant the interested project participantsto influence processes in this area.
Within the framework of the project it is planned to select 25 representatives of non -governmental NGOs from 8 regions of Ukraine (Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odessa). They will take part in three seminars on the implementation of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine / In-depth and comprehensive free trade (UA / PVZVT) and aimed at enhancing the ability of participating organizations in the following areas:
– the content and consequences of the implementation of UA/PVZVT;
– Monitoring and impact tools on the implementation process of UA/PVZVT;

– public communications management (Public Communication Management);
– Fandering and acquaintance with the European Neighbourchood Instrument (European tool “);
– Development of a monitoring strategy and design ideas for improving efficiency/control/transparency of the UA/PVZVT implementation process in Ukraine.

The seminars will be held in Odessa according to the following indicative schedule:

The first seminar: “The EU as a palm – as an association agreement can work for you.” The period is: 09 – November 12, 2015.Seminar topics:
– the truth on the EU Association Agreement with Ukraine: myths and facts about current processes and tasks in the future;
– EU Association: key terms and tools;
– introduction and brief overview of the Association Agreement;
– Fundamentals of GVZVT for CSO of Ukraine;
– preparation of CSOs for their key participation in the process of implementation of the UA.

The second and third seminars will be held in periods of 07 – December 10, 2015 and January 25 – 28, 2016.

Requirements for participants:
– Persons aged 18 years of age are allowed to participate in the project.
– Applicants should be interested and have information in the field of implementation of the Association Agreement between the European Union and Ukraine / in -depth and comprehensive free trade (UA / PVZVT). The experience of monitoring the processes in this area is welcome.
– Applicants must have a basic level of English (minimum: the ability to read and understand the texts outlined in English).
– the applicant must be a member of the civil society organization, which is registered in one of the above regions of Ukraine:Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Odessa(To confirm this, a certificate of registration of the civil society organization, which the participant will represent in the project) must be added to the application).

The selected participants will automatically be invited to participate in the first seminar of the project, which will be held in Odessa from 09 to 12 November 2015.
