Public presentation “Program for the support of NGOs as an effective tool for budget allocation”


Public presentation of a new vision of the city support program for NGOs will be held on August 20, 2015 at 14.00 at the Discussion Club “Expert Thought” (6A Polubotok St., Chernihiv). The event is the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research and Public Television: Chernihiv.

The mentioned meeting will be held within the framework of the project “Transparent budget financing of Chernihiv public organizations – the way to enhance their capacity.” The purpose of the event is to expert evaluation of the existing program of support of public organizations in Chernihiv for 2015, the presentation of its new vision, as well as to express a public position by potential candidates for deputies of Chernihiv city council and deputies of the current convocation to support the idea of ​​the project.

This project is part of the two -year initiative “Civil Society and Media for Transparent Local Budgets!”, Which is implemented by the Odessa Regional Organization “Committee of Voters of Ukraine” with expert support of the Open Society Foundation. The local partner is the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research.
