Round table “European Relations with Ukraine”

Under this name, a round table was held in the expert club “Clean Policy”, dedicated to Europe Day in Ukraine. The event was organized by the City Council Public Relations Department together with the Clean Policy Expert Club. At the invitation of the expert club, the President of the Polissya Foundation Gennady Maxak took part in the event.

Gennady Maxak, President of the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Studies, briefly spoke about the general context of relations between the European Union and Ukraine. According to the topic of the round table, it is the context of the European Strategy for Ukraine that should be emphasized. The expert spoke about the institutional and normative dimension of relations, as well as problems of political nature, which do not allow to optimize this path.

Yuri Tkach – Head of the Chernihiv City Non -Governmental Organization “Euro Club” noted that in the last few years work has been significantly intensified in the direction of cooperation with the European Union not only at the national level but also at the level of cities.
