Summary of the social project “Stay Man”

On May 31, 2012, the final press conference was dedicated to the completion of the project “Stay” by the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Studies with the support of the Family and Youth Affairs and Youth Chernihiv City Council.

The purpose of the project is to combat all manifestations of violence in the family.

During the meeting, Olena Kolochko, a manager of social projects of the Polissya Fund, told in detail about the stages of implementation of this local initiative. During the period from April 1 to May 31, there were two large -scale events – the Social Drawing Contest “Say No” Violence “and the information bracelet” Stay Man “among the city residents.

Regina Husak, Head of NGO “Hand” shared information about the preparation of social educators and psychologists of Chernihiv schools before educational conversations in order to prevent violence in the family.

Valery Semenets, Deputy Head of the Department of Family and Youth of Chernihiv City Council, announced and awarded the winners of the competition with valuable prizes, the rest of the participants and volunteers of the project – received thanks and incentive gifts with the project logo. Special thanks for the activity was addressed to Lyceum # 22 and School # 31, which were the most creative and most initiative.
