The next stage of the project “Increasing cooperation between the authorities and the public at the local level for the sake of community development” took place
On March 11-13, 2011, the Laboratory of Legislative Initiatives (Kyiv) and the Polissya Foundation for International and Regional Studies (Chernihiv) conducted an outbound training for representatives of public organizations and civil servants “Cooperation of government and public at the local level for the sake of community development”.
The training was conducted within the framework of the project “Increasing the cooperation of the authorities and the public at the local level for the sake of community development”, which is implemented by the laboratory of legislative initiatives with supporting the program of the Matthewers of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research is a regional project partner in the Chernihiv region.
As part of the training, participants got acquainted with the cycle of campaign and policy, the rules of preparation of the project proposal, elements of the project proposal, channels of influence in politics, conditions of implementation of policy, algorithm of formation of the budget of the project of policy, have gained practical skills in formulating the problem in politics, identifying stakeholders.
The next stage of the project involves writing coalition projects by the participants of training, which will be implemented in the cooperation of local authorities and public organizations and are aimed at the development of the community.
