The place of the Chernihiv budget among transparent and virtuous. ANNOUNCEMENT

On Thursday, June 16, at 13:00 in the Public Press Center “Initiative” (46 Chernihiv, 46, of Shevchenko St. 18), a press conference “Place of Chernihiv budget among transparent and virtuous” will be held, which will be conducted by the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Studies.

The event will publish the conclusions of the study obtained from the measurement of the transparency, participation and integrity of the local budgets. In addition, participants will voice the results and plans of the advocacy campaign to change the rules of distribution of budget funds within the framework of the Program for the support of NGOs.

This press conference is the final within the framework of the project “Transparent budget financing of Chernihiv public organizations-the way to strengthen their capacity”, which contained two main components-analytical and lawyer. He, in turn, is part of the two -year initiative “Civil Society and Media for Transparent Local Budgets!”, Which is implemented by the Odessa Regional Organization of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine with expert support of the Open Society Foundation.
