The sustainability, safety and welfare of the communities of Chernihiv region in crisis times
We begin to work on the implementation of the initiative “The sustainability, safety and well -being of communities of the Chernihiv region in the crisis”. During 2023 we will interact with residents of Gorodnyansk, Nizhyn, Novobilousk, Semeniv and Tupichiv communities of Chernihiv region to help overcome challenges and solve problems related to the direct and indirect consequences of the war.
The project is aimed at:
– support of residents of target communities in maintaining psychological health and preventing gender -conditioned crisis violence;
– improving the capacity of management / responsible institutions of target communities in providing security services to the local population in crisis;
– improving the access of the local population to shelters, proper conditions of sanitation and hygiene in compliance with the requirements of national legislation and international standards.
