The Visegrad Four will invite Eastern partners to exchange experience! Contest for Ukrainian and Belarusian journalists

International Association for Regional Development Institutions In partnership with the Polissya Fund of International and Regional Research, the competition for representatives of the media from Ukraine (Chernihiv and Transcarpathian region) and Belarus, the winners of which will be able to visit the countries of the Visegrad Four (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia).
The draft visit of Ukrainian and Belarusian journalists to the Visegrad Four countries is implemented with the financial support of the International Visegrad Foundation and the International Renaissance Foundation.In the context of the design events, the participants of the visit will get acquainted with the specifics of the functioning of foreign prints, new media, radio and television of local level.
As part of the visit, participants will receive information about the following aspects of the life of the European Media:
– media independence and editorial policy;
– financing of the media;
– features of development of local content;
– relations with local self -government bodies and executive bodies;
– Internet and use of modern interactive media formats.
The knowledge and impressions gained during communication with European colleagues in the Visegrad Group countries, participants should be widely covered in local media (printed publications, online sites, radio, radio, television, etc.). Please note that the dissemination of information about a study visit, the European experience in the development of the media sector is a priority task of the project.

Motivational letter on participation in the tour and using the results of a trip in your professional activity (Ukrainian). We ask separately to inform the willingness to take part in the trip between May 12 and 17, 2013.
Your resume. It is advisable to fill the application in English.
According to the results of the competition, 8 journalists will be selected, where, along with professional qualities, it will take into account the maintenance of territorial balance.
The final term of filling the application form – April 26, 2013 (23.00). Applications sent later than the specified deadline will not be considered.
The results of the competition will be published April 28, 2013.
The organizers provide participants with methodological materials and food, reimburse travel and accommodation costs in full.
