We invite you to training
The Center for Political and Legal Reforms invites a series of trainings to strengthen the ability of public institutions to influence power (Kyiv, April 22-24, 2016).
We are convinced that the future development of Ukraine depends on citizens and activity of civil society. We do not know how to implement all reforms in the country, but we have many years of experience in some and of them. That is why we go to the regions to share the knowledge and experience with public activists of the largest cities of Ukraine, and to establish cooperation to support the most important reforms.
At the training we will consult and discuss on the following issues:
1) how to develop self -organization of citizens to resolve the decisions of local authorities, how and for what to promote decentralization reform;
2) how the activity of local self -government changes in the conditions of decentralization changes, how to facilitate the organization of providing administrative services in communities;
3) what changes are waiting for us in the organization of the district level of public authority, how to monitor the activities of police and state inspections and influence their reform;
4) how to monitor the activities of courts and prosecutors and promote their reform;
5) as finding corruption factors in acts of local self -government bodies and prevent corruption in their activities.
The second training will take place atKiev April 22-24, 2016and focused on participants withKiev, Zhytomyr, Bila Tserkva, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Vinnitsa and Khmelnitsky.
Who can take part?
Representatives of NGOs and other public activists who work in the field of strengthening the ability of civil society institutions may participate in the event and implement local authorities and implement reforms in the political and legal field.

The final date of submission of applications –April 18, 2016, 23.00.
At least 5 people from target cities will be selected to participate in the training. The selection of participants will be carried out on the results of the analysis of the submitted application.
Participation in training isfree. The organizers pay for the passage, accommodation and food of participants from other cities.
Working language is Ukrainian.
In April–June 2016, three more trainings for the central, eastern and southern regions of Ukraine will be held.
Also, the project is planned to provide public organizations to micro -grants for the implementation of local initiatives.
