What will be the color of the local elections in Chernihiv region?
The use of “black” technologies during elections in Ukraine, unfortunately, becomes a common practice. And today there is no reason to expect that the participants of the local race will refuse to get each other with dirt.
As for Chernihiv region, we already have the first swallows. Despite the fact that the candidates officially call for mutual understanding, respect and honest elections, Chernihiv boxes and information space are gradually filled with dirt.
Even before the start of the official election campaign in the regional center appeared the newsletter “For Chernihiv”, issue No. 4 of July 30, 2010, in the initial data of which is the editor -in -chief of T. Vozniuk – now a candidate for Chernihiv City Council from the Civic Thought Association). The ballot was directed against the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Valery Dubil, at that time – a potential candidate for the post of Chernihiv mayor.
Two months have passed and the Chernihivs saw publications in the same format, under the same brand “For Chernihiv” and under the same # 4, but with the date on September 30, 2010 and named after an information card. O. Bay is responsible for printing. This publication was directed against the team of ex-governor Vladislav Atroshenko, who participates in the local elections under the flags of “Strong Ukraine” and “Front of Changes”.
It also continues to come out with the acclaiming materials newspaper “People’s Control”. №53 of September 24, 2010 contains information about the current mayor of O. Sokolov, a candidate from “Public Opinion” A. Romanov and deputies of the Chernihiv City Council.
In this regard, it should also be noted During a press conference, he accused a representative of “public opinion” (“Civic Solidarity”) by V. Trachtenberg, who is put forward on the same district, of pressure execution in order to remove his candidacy.
A few days later, a press conference was held by V. Trachtenberg, which in no way commented on this statement, but instead accused competitors of provocation, namely: the spread of leaflets with information about “public opinion” during a ban on agitation.
M. Mikhalevich, a candidate for mayor of Chernihiv, also collided with manifestations of unfair competition. In the crowded places, Chernihiv spread a postcard with negative information about it.
Thus, at the start of the official campaign we are already watching “trial shots” before the responsible battle. And what color October will be in Chernihiv region, we will all be able to draw our own conclusions, as we will become direct participants in the election process.
